After Americain won the Melbourne cup in 2010  Colleen Bamford, part owner of Americain, Stephanie, Americain's assistant trainer and Loise who is Americain's strapper and track rider visited our school and brought the cup with them !!!

We also had a visit from the Channel ten news, some local papers and Shaun Kelly, a representative from Racing Victoria . The students presented the girls with some artwork and cards congratulating them on their win along with Australiana gifts which included a jar of vegemite. They students were then able to hold the cup and have their photos taken along with staff and parents.
