Art 2017

These images are the prep and grade 1 felt pictures. They cut the shapes from coloured felt squares and glued them onto a felt background. They thought about contrasting colours and tried to ad details and some pattern using felt pieces and permanent markers. They used eye stickers and the finished work was laminated.
 

Students used cardboard pre cut shapes and random scraps to create a collage of a vase of Banksia flowers inspired by the work of Margaret Preston. After their board was finished they used black printing ink and learnt the process of rolling ink onto their boards and making multiple copies of the image. They printed onto paper and fabric. They coloured the prints with vegetable dye.
